The Pool Design & Build Process

With the pool representing only one component of the project, building a custom poolscaping begins with careful planning. To make your dreams a reality, CLC Pools along with The CLC Advantage , believe that a customizing pool/landscaping project requires the necessary steps to guarantee a long-lasting, functional and eye-appealing project that will enhance the unique configuration of your property. From grading to drainage to customizing your pool with waterfalls and love seats surrounding plantings, walkways, lighting and a covered porch, require careful preparation. These steps are as follows:

Step One – Initial Contact

A knowledgeable and experienced CLC Pools representative will contact the customer to review our mandatory questionnaire  that we require our pool customer to complete prior to the initial meeting and any paperwork to have available at the time of the onsite meeting. Our website gallery is comprised of numerous pools and spas, landscaping and building structure pictures for ideas on shapes, sizes and landscaping treatments, so feel free to have them available for the onsite meeting.

Step Two – Background Research (Fee Required)

At completion of the initial onsite meeting, the client will be required to contract CLC Pools to implement the background research phase. Extensive research will be performed on municipal township codes as it relates to constructing your pool and landscaping project to determine size, placement, and elevation of the pool and all landscape and building elements that can be incorporated into your backyard.

Step Three – Landscape Design (Fee Required)

The Landscape Design will incorporate the information compiled in the research stage with the client’s pool, landscape, building structure and product decisions into a landscape design. If building structure is to be implemented into the design, such as cabana, covered porch, arbors there would be separate architectural fees incurred. Based on the landscape design, an line item proposal of every phase of the pool/landscape will be reviewed with the client.
